Privacy Policy
Effective / last updated: 2026-06-25
Outdoor Guide does not transmit or store calculator inputs to any server; all calculations are processed only in your browser.
However, advertising and analytics services such as Google AdSense may use cookies to collect non-personally-identifiable information.
1. Information we collect and do not collect
Outdoor Guide has no sign-up process and does not request or collect directly identifying information such as your name, contact details or account numbers. Values entered into the calculators (temperature, lunar date, body weight, etc.) are used only within your browser, disappear automatically, and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
However, the following information may be generated and collected automatically during use of the website.
- Access IP address, browser type and version, operating system, visit date and time
- Pages visited, referring page (referrer), device information
- Anonymous identifiers via cookies and similar technologies
2. Use of cookies
Outdoor Guide may use cookies to provide the service and serve ads. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser to remember visit history and settings.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your web browser settings. Note that blocking cookies may limit some features and ad personalization. Cookie settings can be changed in each browser's settings menu (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.).
3. Google AdSense and third-party ads
Outdoor Guide serves ads through Google AdSense. Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to provide personalized ads based on your previous visits.
- Google uses advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
- You can review and opt out of third-party ad vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- You can learn how Google handles data at How Google uses data on partner sites.
4. Analytics tools
To improve the service, we may use web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. These tools collect anonymized statistical information such as pages visited and time on site via cookies, and do not identify any specific individual.
5. Data retention and third-party sharing
Because Outdoor Guide does not directly collect or store your personal information, no separate retention period applies. Automatically collected access and cookie information is handled and retained per the policies of the relevant service providers, such as Google. Except as required by law, we do not sell or arbitrarily share user information with third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right to refuse information collection through your browser cookie settings, and you can disable personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. For questions about data handling, contact us at the address below.
7. Children's privacy
Outdoor Guide is not primarily directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be revised in line with laws or service changes, and any changes will be announced on this page. For significant changes, we will update the effective date.
